Our Story
Kylie and Chris both work at Trinity Health System, Kylie works at the Images Mammography Center and Chris works in the marketing department.
One winter day in 2022 the marketing department decided to do a Christmas video where staff from different departments would read different lines of Twas the Night Before Christmas.
After the video was over Kristy, Kylie's supervisor, along with the Images staff made it their mission to introduce Kylie and Chris.
A few weeks later when Chris was going to the mail room he passed Kylie's coworker Tammy three times in the hallway.
After the third time Tammy stopped Chris. She asked him if he had a girlfriend and after he said no she told him she knew someone and wanted to give him her number.
Chris went back to his office and Tammy stopped in later that afternoon with Kylie's number written on a piece of paper. And yes, Chris still has that note.
Later that evening Chris texted Kylie and they haven't stopped talking since.
A week later Chris asked Kylie to dinner and they had their first date at Theo Yianni's restaurant on January 21, 2023 and after that the dates never stopped. They made their relationship official on May 6, 2023 right before Kylie's large family Memorial Day picnic.
Kylie and Chris's families blended well together and always attend family gatherings together.
Fast forward to December 14, 2024. Together with their families Kylie and Chris embarked on a Holiday Lights Trolley Tour through Pittsburgh. Kylie had no idea what was going to happen in a couple hours.
After the trolley let off at the PPG Place Ice Rink the family took a group photo. Chris distracted Kylie and pulled out the ring when she wasn't looking. When Kylie turned around she was in shock.
Chris asked her to marry him and she said yes! We are so excited to share our wedding day with our family and friends!
